Equine Photography

Everyone was so excited to have nice weather, then the April snow storm hit Minnesota. Yikes! What a mess that was. The day before that was a beautiful day. The sun was out and I had the chance to work with Emma and her horse Ben.

I got to the barn and noticed all the cats snuggled together and I knew this was going to be and amazing shoot!

Emma turned her music on and started grooming Ben. He was happy to be with her and anxious to be in the sun.

Emma and Ben lit up with joy once they were outside. Ben said hello to his friend and then started playing with Emma.

We moved back towards the barn for a few shots. I could see that they really have a special bond. Ben is so sweet to her and she just adores him.

After he was all tacked up, Ben took Emma for a walk around the area.  They enjoyed each other's company. I love moments like this.

The time came for our last set of photos. We moved back outside and Emma and Ben both were able to let their hair down. It was wonderful to be a part of their life for a day. I can't wait to come back and visit this summer.
